October is Mental Health Awareness Month. Every year Black Dog Institute organizes different activities to raise money for mental health in Australia including for children and young people. This year's theme is "One Foot Forward" so 28,168 people walked and raised $4,549,812 for mental health.
Life can be challenging and confusing as a young person; balancing friendships and school work, concerns about body image, and keeping up with friends online and in person. This is why GOOD MENTAL FITNESS IS IMPORTANT. It is about training the brain to deal with daily stresses without feeling overwhelmed, upset, or worried. Building resilience and mental fitness matters.
We would like to invite you to our Mental Health Awareness Month talk focusing ON THE STRENGTHS OF OUR STORIES.
