Report By Lily, Year 7:
Makerspace is a Tuesday lunch club for art and craft lovers to hang out, make new friends and create fun art pieces. I joined Makerspace this year and have loved every minute. Every week we do a different creative project. We have made polymer clay earrings, stress balls, and electronic and textile projects. Other projects have included keyrings, electro-origami and clay bowls. For Anzac Day, Makerspace students contributed to the library display by designing and making poppies from paper to decorate the library.
I came to Makerspace to do art, but I did more than just earring making and I made some close friends. Makerspace is one time in the week when you get to be creative, learn new skills and have lots of fun. I like to bring my lunch, eat and create. It's about having fun with a group of creative artists.
